A woman and her child died in a fire in Orenburg. They were at home, reports press office SU IC RF for the Orenburg region.

A fire broke out in the Industrial Zone of the city in the early hours of March 6, in which two people lost their lives.

At that time, the 41-year-old mistress of the house and her 5-month-old son were in a detached house on Stepnaya Street. Their bodies were found while the fire was being extinguished.

Investigators who came to the scene opened a criminal case for causing death as a result of the negligence of two or more people.

Currently, department employees are working on the scene, and all necessary investigations should be planned soon to determine the causes of the fire.
