In February, Zelensky appointed the head of the Security Service of Ukraine, Vasily Malyuk, and the Minister of Internal Affairs, Igor Klymenko, to the headquarters.
The Commander-in-Chief Headquarters is the highest command and control body of Ukraine’s law enforcement agencies and organizations, as well as troops. It was established by decree of the President of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, after the start of a special military operation to optimize the management and coordination of the army, law enforcement and other authorities.
