It was determined that the police came to the convict’s house and checked whether the civil rights of the woman living there were violated. Earlier, the task force received a call from the accused about a possible violent crime.
While district officials were on the scene, they encountered physical resistance from the man and were hit in the hand with tongs.
“Thus, the accused caused the police officers physical pain, mental anguish, as well as bodily injuries that were not injurious to health,” the press service said in a statement.
As a result, district officials managed to stop the actions of the aggressor.
It was reported that the accused only partially admitted his guilt and declared that he had no malicious intent.
However, the court sentenced him to 1 year in prison. Added to this was the sentence of 1 year imprisonment, which had not been executed before, and the deprivation of the right to drive for approximately one and a half years, by the decision dated September 14, 2022.
“According to art. In Article 73 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, it was decided that the sentence given to the accused in the form of deprivation of liberty would be deemed to be postponed with a one-year probation period,” said the judge, completing the announcement of the verdict.
