In the United States, two Ukrainian pilots began training in combat aircraft, including F-16 fighter jets. This was reported by the Turkish Anadolu agency citing a senior US military official.
The two Ukrainian pilots are currently at a meet-up event in Tucson, Arizona, the official said. He noted that this is a joint activity within the framework of the US military dialogue with Ukraine.

He also stated that during the visit, Ukrainian pilots will not fly, but will train on simulators, an event similar to what the US does with other countries under the US European Command (EUCOM) program.
The military also stressed that the United States has no plans to increase the number of trained Ukrainian pilots, but that Washington is “not closing the door to future opportunities”.
