NASA engineer John Posey, who is preparing to launch Crew Dragon, said US and Russian space industry representatives meet regularly to discuss safety. The expert told DEA News.

“We meet regularly to share details about what is happening on the ships, the risks that exist, and so on. Various issues come up at these meetings,” said Posi.

According to him, meetings with members of the International Space Station (ISS) community, especially representatives of Roscosmos, become daily before rocket launches.

Previously, the Crew Dragon ship with a Russian cosmonaut on board Andrey Fedyaev Docked to ISS. The docking of Crew Dragon with the Harmony Node Module of the US segment of the ISS was performed automatically at 01:43 am (9:43 am Moscow time) on the east coast of the United States.

The SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the Dragon spacecraft, which brought astronauts Stephen Bowen and Warren Hoburg, UAE astronaut Sultan Alneyadi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyaev into orbit for a scientific expedition at the space station.

The crew will conduct more than 200 experiments aboard the ISS, which, according to NASA, will help prepare for flights to the Moon and Mars, as well as improve living conditions on Earth.
