Zelensky met with prosecutors from allied countries
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenski met this Friday with representatives of the prosecution offices of allied countries, including European Commissioner for Justice Didier Reynders and Spanish Prosecutor General Álvaro García Ortiz, to discuss possible judicial investigations.
The meeting coincided with Zelenski’s visit to the Lviv region in the west of the country, with US Attorney General Merrick Garlan, International Criminal Court (ICC) Attorney General Karim Khan and representatives from the United Kingdom, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania and Estonia.
Emphasizing the importance of fighting Russia in the field of judiciary, Zelenski complained that “Our country is a big battlefield”. According to the Presidency of Ukraine, “true justice” includes condemning those who commit abuses in the context of the conflict.
