‘Atlas FallenThe new action role offering from developer Deck13, the same studio responsible for ‘Lords of the Fallen’ and ‘The Surge’, already has official release plans. The video game will hit stores on May 16, as confirmed by the software house in a press release. The epic fantasy project, produced under Focus Entertainment and inviting us to super powerful fights with mythical creatures, will be released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series versions.
kicking the dust
The offer encourages us, alone or with a friend, to embark on a heroic journey through stunning environments lurking with a variety of colossal creatures ready to kill without any ceremony. Intent on dealing with these threats, the player will be provided with powerful sand-infused weapons and abilities to hunt these legendary beasts.
As a plot, the company’s writing team seems to have created a devastated society whose memory is lost in the sand. This buried civilization will reveal itself as the adventure progresses: “Explore ancient ruins and uncover the mysteries and secrets of a fallen society. Fight against a corrupt god and extraordinary monsters using the divine power of your shape-shifting weapon. In the game’s official description, create a unique set of moves and unleash the people of Atlas. Rise up as the champion who will liberate,” he says.
a different adventure
While the developer is popular for creating the best “Dark Souls-style” experiences, he warns executives that this project will take a different path. Director Jérémy Hatvick suggests that the title is closer to experiences similar to 2018’s “God of War” or “Horizon Forbidden West”. But no one expects to find a challenging experience in ‘Atlas Fallen’.
From the start, the program includes three selectable difficulty levels that allow you to focus on the story, enjoy a more balanced experience, or use all your skill and patience in battle for survival. “We designed the fight to be easy to learn, but also equipped with mechanics that are difficult to execute perfectly,” the developer explains.
