A Russian woman who abandoned her newborn son to the entrance of a high-rise building in Syktyvkar committed a crime under pressure from her roommate. It has been reported cominform with reference to the chief physician of the perinatal center where the woman gave birth.

Recall that the baby was found in one of the houses on Oktyabrsky Prospekt on the evening of February 16. The bailiff heard a child crying at the entrance and went down from the flat to the first floor, where he found a newborn boy and an envelope.

Soon after, law enforcement identified the boy’s mother. It turned out to be a 23-year-old Pechora native living in a neighboring house. A criminal case was opened against him.

According to the head of the clinic, the girl abandoned her child because her father did not want to raise her. The Russian threatened the woman not to enter the house if she returned with the baby.

However, according to the doctors, the woman was breastfeeding the child after giving birth and was not going to leave him. On the day of her discharge, the Russian woman said that her husband had an accident and would come home by taxi. Thereupon, the woman threw the baby into the entrance of the neighboring house.

The child is no longer in danger. Several couples have expressed a desire to adopt a boy.
