Russians see toxicity as a boss’s worst trait. This was demonstrated in the Team Awards survey of the award in the field of building strong teams, the results of which were reviewed by socialbites.ca.

According to the participants, the most important qualities that conflicted with the image of an ideal manager were: toxicity (40%), incompetence (35.1%) and inefficiency (24.3%). In addition, aggression (23.8%) and prejudice (19.8%) were also ranked with a small delay.

Additionally, as it turned out, respondents see the boss’s role in the team differently. Most (41.2%) are confident that leaders need to motivate their subordinates and thus increase labor productivity. The next answer is to prevent employee burnout (27.6%). Another 18.8% want the boss to be involved in their professional development, and 17.1% believe the leader should be able to resolve conflicts in the team.

Interestingly, only 10% see them as an exemplary boss committed to authoritarianism.
