The falling age of street crime in Russia could turn into a social disaster, declaration Alexander Khaminsky, head of the Center for Law and Order in Moscow and the Moscow Region, in an interview with FAN. This is how he interpreted the raids in big cities to prevent the activities of youth groups whose members allow hooliganism in public places. The main problem, according to the lawyer, is that with the development of the Internet and social networks, the growth of youth movements, including criminal ones, is much faster than the information received about them by law enforcement agencies.

“A generation ago, in any district internal affairs department, the district police saw many difficult youths by sight, information about them came to the children’s rooms of the police. It was possible to have preventive conversations with both children and their parents. Today, members of the same group can live in opposite parts of the city, and to prevent them, district commissioners from several dozen district departments will be needed, ”explained Khaminsky.

According to him, young people will have to work hard and prevent them from becoming a “lost generation”. The expert also added that it would not be possible to solve the problem sequentially.

Earlier, the police raided the “Aviapark” shopping center in Moscow and several other places. Law enforcement detained so-called representatives of the PMC Redan movement, which last week broke out in fights at the food court and clashes in other shopping centers in the capital. Later, similar incidents began to take place in other major cities of the country. More details – in the material “Newspapers.Ru”.
