The operation took place in the children’s hospital in Nizhnevartovsk.
In the fall of 2022, the patient began to observe an increase in the size of the abdomen, but did not go to the doctor. Until February 2023, the girl could no longer ignore the problem due to the growth of the tumor, and then the family took her to the hospital. Doctors diagnosed the patient with a benign tumor – teratoma.
Teratoma occupied almost the entire abdominal cavity of the girl and reached 42 centimeters.
During the operation, it was possible to avoid the complete removal of the genitals. Now the girl is going through the postoperative period.
