Developed by AIJU, the project seeks to contribute to companies in the toy, packaging and tableware industry that apply bioplastics from fossil fuels to their products, comply with stringent requirements and regulations for direct integration into the value chain, and include an alternative to plastic. .

In this sense, It is estimated that around 860,000 products could potentially be replaced with more sustainable materials.Representing 2% of the plastics industry in the Community of Valencia, resulting in a reduction in carbon footprint and minimizing the environmental impact on our lifestyle.

In this second year of the project’s development, AIJU has succeeded in designing a special service for several companies that allows them to produce more sustainable consumer goods.replacing plastic with materials derived from biomass, biodegradable or polymers, which is a combination of both materials.

Minister Josefina Bueno wanted to emphasize that many companies were involved in the development of this project and that the solution offered by AIJU was developed according to the needs of companies without forcing companies to invest additional research resources.
