The investigation and court found that from June 1 to July 31, 2018, Samsonov was on one of the days when he was at a recreation center in Vladivostok. There, communicating with her friend’s 11-year-old son, the surrogate showed the boy a “special object” and told him of his “purpose.”

The defendant and his lawyers filed a complaint with the Primorsky District Court regarding the breach of the secrecy of the negotiating room. As a result, the case was reinstated and, after verification, presented to the district court again and was accepted as of February 8.
“The judgment against Samsonov was annulled, the criminal case was transferred from the stage of preparation for the trial in the same court to a new trial in a different composition of the court,” Oleneva said.
He added that the restraining order in the form of detention was changed to three months’ house arrest. Samsonov was released from custody.
