Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur arrived in Kiev and met with the Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov. This was reported by the news site “HB.ua“.
According to the publication, Pevkur announced that a military aid package was delivered during the meeting, which included machine guns, pistols, unmanned aerial vehicles, thermal cameras, generators and chargers, as well as clothing.
Receiving the gifts, Reznikov “noted the courage of the Minister” and thanked him for the new help.
“It is difficult to overstate Estonia’s assistance,” Reznikov stressed.
Previously reportedthat in the near future Tallinn will purchase large quantities of ammunition to increase the probability of firing from closed positions.
We are talking about shooting at targets out of sight from the attack position. For this, for example, mortars, artillery shells, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) or stray ammunition are used.
According to Estonian Defense Minister Hanno Pevkur, after receiving these munitions in the near future, the Estonian Defense Forces will be able to attack the enemy with air assault weapons from a greater distance.
