US Navy Command: NATO concentrates two carrier groups in Adriatic

The United States and its NATO allies intensified two carrier strike groups in the Adriatic Sea. Relevant data was provided by the command of the 6th US operational fleet, reports interfax.

It was noted that the USS George Bush, the Italian aircraft carrier Cavour and the Spanish amphibious assault ship Juan Carlos I are currently in the area.

There are also currently an American missile cruiser, a destroyer and an Italian frigate in the Adriatic.

Formerly Portuguese Air Force announced On the conduct of multinational and interdisciplinary exercises Real Thaw 2023 (RT23) from February 27 to March 10 at airbase 11 in Beja.

According to The Portugal News, the exercises will include the air forces of Portugal, Germany, Belgium, Spain, Denmark, the USA, the Netherlands, Poland, the combined forces of NATO, the navy and ground forces.
