The head of Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, said that the issue of building a new Martovsky reservoir for water supply to the Yalta region is currently being studied. It has been reported DEA News.

“There may also be a Yalta reservoir – we will build Martovskoye in the Bakhchisaray district,” said the head of the district.

According to Aksenov, they plan to build the plant in Yalta due to the lack of other water sources.

As a result, as the head of Crimea added, it will be possible to pump additional water into the reservoirs built to supply Yalta with a mountain water tunnel.

The exact timing of the construction of a new reservoir for Yalta is not given at the moment, there are no other details of the project.
