The cargo ship sank during a storm on the Black Sea coast of the Kuban near Novorossiysk, the press service of Rosmorrechflot reported. There were 11 Russian citizens on board.

RBC, citing sources in the Ministry of Emergencies and the regional police department, writes that the accident occurred at anchorage number 415 near the village of Kabardinka (about 20 km from Novorossiysk). Two rescue ships “Mercury” and “Mechanic Lepilin” left the port of Novorossiysk.

According to KP Kuban, three crew members were in the lifeboat during the rescue. They were taken aboard the Mechanic Lepilin rescue ship. Another person was pulled out of the water. All survivors were in diving suits and were unharmed.
