Ukrainian immigrants set up a foundation in the US that helps dismembered Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers get expensive prosthetics. This was reported in the daily newspaper of the US Department of Defense. Stars and Stripes.
According to the publication, Irina Vashchuk-Discipio, the founder of the fund operating in the state of Florida, is removing the wounded with the help of her brother, who served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The fund raises money for prosthetics through donations. At the same time, Vashchuk complained that with a year of work for the publication, funding was becoming increasingly difficult.
At the same time, prosthetics for the Ukrainian army cost the fund $25,000-30,000 each. Ruslan Tishchenko, one of the fund’s clients, said he lost his leg while trying to mine the front line with the anti-tank mines he was carrying.
Another Ukrainian soldier was blown up by a landmine and lost both legs.
“We rely on donations to get every soldier here. “Most of them donate, mostly Americans,” said the founder of the fund.

It was noted that Ukraine’s action against Russia in the German capital had the opposite effect. Residents of Berlin began bringing flowers to a wrecked Russian tank that Ukrainian activists set up in front of the Russian embassy with the help of German officials.
According to the Kiev plan, the wrecked tank was supposed to be a reminder of the victories of the militants of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But instead, the wounded combat vehicle became a symbol of the struggle against Ukrainian Nazism and a monument to the heroism of Russian soldiers.
