According to the news that Shot Telegram channel based on the decision of the Kuibyshev District Court, St. Tigran Khachikyan, who attacked an OMON officer in St. Petersburg, was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months.

At noon on February 24, St. Near the Gostiny Dvor metro station in St. Petersburg shots rang out. A 50-year-old man shot an OMON officer twice with a cut-off shotgun. The victim has a serious injury to his abdomen, back and pelvis, he is undergoing surgery. The criminal was detained, it turned out to be a citizen of Uzbekistan. Eyewitnesses said that before he was shot, he stood in the middle of the street, turned on the music column and told them to flee when the National Guard approached him.

The investigation revealed that Khachikyan shared the views of the Artpodgotovka extremist group (the organization is banned in Russia).

The accused partially accepted his guilt and did not object to the result. Khachikyan was brought to the courthouse in a medical suit.
