Pentagon spokesman: US will not have time to transport Switchblade drones to Kiev in the spring

Pentagon spokesman Patrick Ryder said during a briefing that he did not think the United States could send a Switchblade 600 drone to Ukraine in the spring of 2023. It has been reported TASS.

“I don’t have a deadline in terms of delivery… I don’t think so,” he said to a journalist’s question on the subject.

Former Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin announced It’s about a new $2 billion military aid package to Ukraine that will include warplanes and ammunition for HIMARS.

According to Austin, weapons will be transferred from manufacturers, not Pentagon warehouses. Ammunition for HIMARS and laser guided missile systems, shells for 155 mm artillery mounts, CyberLux K8, Switchblade 600, Altius-600 and Jump 20 drone models, equipment for detecting UAVs and electronic warfare equipment, mine clearance and communication equipment to be shipped.
