On the Day of Defender of the Fatherland in the city of Genichesk, Kherson region, for the first time the initiation ceremony of local schoolchildren to Yunarmiya was held. It has been reported telegraph channel Administration of the Genichesk municipal district.
It was noted that 37 schoolchildren joined the ranks of the All-Russian youth military-patriotic folk movement “Yunarmiya”.
Each young member took a solemn oath: to always be faithful to his homeland, to abide by the Greek charter, to follow the traditions of valor, courage and comradely mutual aid, to protect the weak, to strive for victories in education and sports, to honor the memory of heroes.
The guests present at the end of the ceremony congratulated the children who took the oath and wished them a peaceful sky, success in their studies, and cultural and spiritual development.
Also, regional Telegram channels report that on February 23, a martial arts hall opened in Genichesk, where young boxers play their first match dedicated to the Day of Defender of the Fatherland.
