According to the publication, as part of the visit, the Korean minister visited the Warsaw state group Polska Grupa Zbrojeniowa (PGZ) and met with Sebastian Chwalek, Chairman of the Board, where he discussed cooperation in the production of weapons systems between the two countries. .
Also during Lee’s visit, Korean company Hanwha Aerospace announced that it has signed a contract with Polish defense company WB Group to equip Hanwha’s Chunmoo Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) with Polish WB command and control systems to meet Polish operational requirements.
In addition, Lee Jong Sub is scheduled to meet with Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blashak.
The publication reminds that Poland has become a major buyer of Korean weapons systems by signing contracts worth $5.78 billion.
The contract includes the supply of K-2 tanks, K-9 and FA-3 self-propelled howitzers, as well as 50 light attack aircraft.
