Billionaire George Soros’ Open Estonia Foundation has studied Russia’s economy and politics, and has also held roundtables with the Russian opposition. It has been reported RT.
According to the Estonian Registry of Legal Entities, a non-profit organization receives an average of 2.86 million Euros per year from its activities. The funds are used to study relations between the Baltic states, make grants, provide materials on the Russian Federation, and organize roundtables with Russian liberal figures.
At the same time, it was noted that Russian dissidents and NGO representatives from Washington also attended the roundtable meetings. The foundation also engaged in research on the Russian political space and economy.
