Two who lost a game of pool kills seven In the Brazilian state of Mato Grosso and officials confirmed death of one of them During search operations, as reported by the Civil Police on Wednesday. The incident known this Wednesday occurred at a bar in the municipality of Sinop, near the Amazon state of Pará, north of Mato Grosso (west), 480 kilometers from the region’s capital, Cuiabá, on Tuesday night.
According to the witness statements of the authorities, the two men they lost a game of pool for money and after seeing ridicule from the victors, they left the place and then they came back fire random against all people. Among the victims is a child under the age of twelve.
The perpetrators of the massacre were identified by the institution’s security cameras. This Wednesday afternoon, 27-year-old Ezequias de Souza Ribeiro was killed in a shootout with Police in a rural area near Sinop airport. According to an official report from the Mato Grosso Public Security Secretariat, the attacker was injured and taken to a Sinop hospital where he died. The other perpetrator of the massacre, Edgar Ricardo de Oliveira, has been arrested by the judiciary and is still on the run.
The Civil Police told EFE that the van belonging to the perpetrators of the massacre and one of the weapons used were found abandoned this Wednesday.
