Pentagon deputy spokesman Sabrina Singh said the United States has not changed the readiness of its nuclear forces in connection with the suspension of Russia’s participation in the Strategic Arms of Further Reduction and Limitation Measures Treaty (START). Transmits words DEA News.

“There is no change in terms of preparation, nothing changes in terms of the commitments we have to keep,” Singh said.

On February 22, the State Duma and the Federation Council unanimously approved Suspension of Russia’s participation in the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty. The draft law was presented to the Bundestag on February 21 by President Vladimir Putin, who announced his decision to suspend participation in the treaty during the announcement of the message. The document will enter into force after publication.
