On February 17, on the outskirts of the city of Belogorsk, in the Tom River, the body of a 54-year-old man with signs of violent death was found.

As a result of the operational search, the 41-year-old neighborhood resident was detained on suspicion of committing a crime.

During the interrogation, the detainee announced that the deceased had visited him on February 12. The men drank together and an argument broke out between them. Later, the accused fired the guest and in the morning discovered that the computer motherboard had disappeared.

In the evening of the same day, he came to the house on Ozernaya Street, where his guest of yesterday was at that time, intoxicated and inflicted many blows on his head and body. The accused decided to get rid of the corpse to hide the traces of the crime and threw it into the Tom River.

It is stated that the detained person is on trial for theft and deliberate minor bodily harm.

Concerning the accused, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention. The investigation uncovers all the circumstances of the murder.
