A 37-year-old man was hospitalized with a stab wound to his chest. The doctors reported the situation to the police.
As a result of the check, forensic investigators found that the victim was resting in a cafe in Omsk. He was intoxicated and persistently harassed other visitors. For this reason, a workplace employee stabbed his victim in an argument with the cafe chief.
The victim is currently in the hospital’s intensive care unit.
A 55-year-old local resident involved in the crime was detained by operators and confiscated from him a weapon that caused bodily injuries. It was learned that he had previously been convicted of theft, robbery and grievous bodily harm.
The investigator filed a criminal case for intentionally causing grievous bodily harm. As a punishment for a crime of the specified nature, the law provides for a prison sentence of up to 10 years.
