Russian President Vladimir Putin said that all families participating in a special military operation, without exception, should be surrounded by attention, dignity and care. The Russian leader expressed this in his annual speech to the Bundestag.
“I understand how unbearably difficult it is now for the wives, sons, daughters and their parents of martyred soldiers who raised worthy defenders of the Fatherland,” Putin said.
He added that the duty of the state is to support the families of those who participated in the special operations. Putin said that especially military children should be given a good education and profession. According to the President of the Russian Federation, requests from such families should be responded to immediately and “without bureaucracy.”
Earlier, in his speech to the Bundestag, the head of state offered to create A special state fund that will provide targeted assistance to veterans of the special military operation in Ukraine and the families of the victims.
The President noted that branches of funds will need to be deployed in all regions of Russia as early as 2023 to support the families and veterans of the victims of the special operation. At the same time, he stressed that the creation of a suitable fund for aid to the military does not eliminate the responsibility of other organizations.
