at the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) declarationthat domestic scientists have developed and produced the first monolithic integrated circuits (MIS) in the Russian Federation based on gallium nitride, capable of operating in extreme conditions, in space or in conditions of increased background radiation.

Microcircuits created on the basis of gallium nitride – provide higher specific powers, work better at high temperatures and are resistant to adverse factors.

Scientists clarify that the use of this component in microcircuits instead of silicon or gallium arsenide is a global trend. Such chips are especially used in new generation radar equipment.

Basically, experts collected models of transceivers for short-range radar stations (up to ten meters). This distance is sufficient to control robotic arms operating in particularly high radiation conditions or other extreme conditions.

Russian scientists before suggested use stem cells to deliver medicine to the body.
