Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Pavel Yablonsky said that during US President Joe Biden’s visit to Poland, Warsaw will raise the issue of sending fighter jets to Kiev. Yablonsky said this on air Polish radio.

“We will discuss this today with the President of the United States and tomorrow at the Bucharest Nine summit, the eastern wing of NATO. “We’re going to talk about how more military support should be,” he said.

Yablonsky noted that he “doesn’t want to get ahead of the facts”, but that the Polish side, in his own words, will “do everything so that Ukraine gets any weapon it needs for defense.”

The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Poland believes that all options should be discussed.

He stressed that such actions should be coordinated within the framework of the alliance.

According to Yablonsky, there are states that can do more for Ukraine.

“Poland has already transferred a large number of weapons. We want to transfer even more, while arming and strengthening the Polish army,” he said.
