The Armed Forces of Ukraine are training in the forbidden zone of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. It has been reported France24.
It is noted that this place has become an important training ground for Ukrainian soldiers.
The newspaper writes that a Ukrainian army truck with anti-aircraft guns, covered with camouflage nets, drove through bare trees in the exclusion zone, just 15 kilometers from Ukraine’s border with Moscow’s ally, Belarus.
At a signal, a group of soldiers launch a mock attack and head towards the forest. Journalists also say that most of the fighters are not professional soldiers.
According to France24, the purpose of these trainings is to repel the enemy attack from Belarus and prevent the landing.
Ukraine as previously reported asked France has 1 million euros to inspect the bunker of the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
Currently, a special operation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation is underway in Ukraine. On February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the launch. According to him, the purpose of military action is to demilitarize the neighboring country and to navy the authorities.
