Head of the Kalashnikov Concern (part of Rostec) Alan Lushnikov said that he has begun mass production of the Chukavin sniper rifle (SVCh). It has been reported TASS.
“The Chukavin rifle has successfully passed state tests. The microwave is produced for the benefit of the customer. The design documentation for the product was given the letter “O1″ for mass production,” Lushnikov said.
Earlier it became known that the state company “Rostec”. will show for the first time Chukavin sniper rifle (SHF) during the IDEX exhibition in the Middle East.
According to the company, the sniper rifle of the Kalashnikov concern is designed to hit the most important targets, including those outside the effective firing range of automatic rifles. The weapon is designed taking into account the requirements of modern ergonomics, which allows the use of individual characteristics of the shooter, as well as a wide variety of combat equipment.
Prior to that, the head of the Rostec company, Sergei Chemezov, said that Russia does not intend to lose its place in the global arms market.
