Unidentified people set fire to an apartment door in Smolensk twice. It has been reported press service EMERCOM of Russia in the Smolensk region.
City firefighters are already making their second visit, following a call from a resident of one of the nine-story buildings on Udarnikov Street. The man’s front door was first set on fire a month ago. The second incident occurred on February 16 at around 21:00.
This time the owner of the apartment was at home and smelled smoke from the common hallway. The paper was burning at the door of his house.
He immediately called the fire department.
The accounts of the city’s third fire and rescue division were sent to help. But the help of firefighters was not necessary. The paper burned and the landlord poured water from inside the apartment on the threshold of the metal door. As a result, it remained a bit smoky.
The primary cause of the fire was arson. Police reportedly began to clarify the details of the incident.
