The founder of Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, commented on the video, in which the artillery of the company asked the Russian Ministry of Defense to regulate the supply of ammunition. According to Prigozhin, his fighters “in no way discredited” the department. He added that he had bypassed “all known” Moscow offices to provide ammunition to the PMCs, and was prepared to continue to do so even if he was jailed for “discrediting the military.” This was reported by the Telegram channel “Prigozhin’s Press Service”.
On February 16, a video emerged in which four gunmen stated that their unit had “completely cut off the ammunition supply.” One of them says that a solution to the supply of ammunition will “affect the whole course of the war”.
Prigozhin confirmed that the men in the video were indeed part of the Wagner PMC units. He also reported that his appeals were effective. Thus, Apty Alaudinov, the commander of the Akhmat detachment, who was in the hospital after being poisoned, donated 28 120 mm mines and 40 anti-tank shells to Wagner.
