A general practitioner from Mordovia offered fake vaccination certificates in exchange for a bribe. In total, he managed to get 29 thousand rubles from patients. It has been reported press office SU IC RF for the Republic of Mordovia.
According to the investigation, in 2021 the district doctor of the therapeutic department of one of the medical institutions in Saransk issued certificates of alleged preventive vaccinations, thereby receiving a bribe of 29 thousand rubles through an intermediary.
The service was used by 25 people living in Mordovia. They bought a certificate of vaccination without vaccination. In all cases, illegal cash prizes were deposited into the doctor’s bank account.
The Investigative Committee has completed its investigation of the criminal case.
The woman was accused of committing two criminal episodes over the fact of taking bribes.
The file has now been referred to the court for consideration on the merits.
