Venus is based on the homonymous play also written by Víctor Conde. This is his first feature film. One night in the late ’70s, in a small concert hall, two teenagers, Paula and Miguel, are preparing to give their band’s last concert for several years. Almost forty years later, a man named Jorge comes to the cafe where he spent his youth. His visit to the city is due to the recent death of his father, Miguel. Entering a cafeteria, Jorge meets his old teen love, Alicia. Both remember the years they met, revealing their reproaches and resentments. During that meeting, another girl also appears in the cafe, bringing with her a mysterious past and revealing the true story of Paula, Miguel, and the photographer Mario, who shared their youth with them. The history of these characters spanning the last decades of that place will change the fate of Jorge and Alicia.
