In April 2012, Veronika Arkhipova left her home and never returned. Relatives of the girl were sure that she could not escape and disappear of her own free will: the Russian woman left her sick grandmother, all documents and money in the apartment.
Then the investigation opened a criminal case under the article “Murder”. At first, her distant relative was suspected of the crime, but later law enforcement found out that the man had nothing to do with Arkhipova’s disappearance.
The missing woman’s family hoped that the girl was still alive. Relatives were looking for him in the Wait for Me program, but the search was unsuccessful. In 2023, law enforcement identified two men suspected of murdering a young Russian woman.
It was noted that both defendants in the case had previously been tried. The body of the deceased has not yet been found.
