Volynets said she received messages from parents who were alarmed by what happened at the vocal show.
“Millions of children watch this program, participants come from all over Russia, the audience votes, they worry. What kind of awareness is established through shows with such mentors? Instead of educating children to be beautiful and kind, they confuse them and push them into the abyss,” wrote the Ombudswoman, noting that such content is inappropriate, especially against the background of the Russian special operation in Ukraine.
Volynets added that it will “appeal to the authorities” as it does not see any other way out in the current situation.
