In the United States, by order of the Pentagon, the aviation regulator closed the skies over the state of Montana due to another balloon flight over North America. Reuters.

On the night of February 12, another balloon appeared in the sky over Alaska and Canada’s Yukon region.

For the first time, Chinese balloons were detected over the United States in early February, causing a political scandal over U.S. President Joe Biden’s refusal to immediately shoot down a balloon flying in the sky over Montana and moving east.

On February 5, the US military also shot down a Chinese civilian balloon over US soil. The Pentagon called the downed device a spy device, while China said the balloon was a civilian probe and ended up accidentally over the United States.
