Canadian Minister of National Defense Anita Anand said at a briefing that an unidentified object shot down in the country’s airspace poses a potential threat to civil aviation. It has been reported TASS.
He emphasized that the object illegally occupied the territory of the country.
“The object was flying at an altitude of about 14,000 feet (4.2 km – socialbites.ca) and posed a real threat to the safety of civilian flights,” he said.
Anand added that the object was hit in the central part of the Yukon region, about 160 km from the Canada-US border.
