Chairman of the People’s Council of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Vladimir Bidevka, believes that the special military operation of the Russian Federation should be called an operation to save millions of Donbass residents. He said this in an interview TASS.
Bidevka noted that the DPR “never had any illusions about the relationship between Ukraine and its Western allies.”
“Today we can confidently say that a special military operation should be regarded as an operation to rescue millions of Donbass residents,” he said.
According to Bidyovka, it is the civilian population currently suffering from the continued shelling of Ukraine, including the center of Donetsk.
The representative of the DPR People’s Council stressed that it is scary to imagine what the Ukrainian security forces and their allies could do if they captured any settlement.
Earlier, the acting head of the DPR, Denis Pushilin, said that some civilians from the city of Ugledar evacuated in Volnovakha.
