The Ukrainian Armed Forces (APU) soldier who participated in the execution of unarmed Russian prisoners of war and shot them over the phone has been identified. Sergei Makarenko reported that they are 26-year-old military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the village of Krasnoborka, Zhytomyr region. RT.
According to the publication, Makarenko confirmed that he participated in the video he posted on his social media page after his identity was revealed.
In the video, he says that the killed Russian soldiers were not prisoners and were fighters of the private military company Wagner.
