Kyiv Emergency Alert Service urged city dwellers not to go outside and stay at home due to the deterioration in air quality caused by increased dust concentrations. The call was broadcast by the notification service on the Telegram channel.

It was noted that the radiation history in the city was normal and no toxic substances were detected in the air. A combination of meteorological factors, especially low wind speed, was named as the cause of weather deterioration.

Residents were advised to close their windows, limit the time they spend outside, drink plenty of water, and run the air purifier, if available, at maximum level.

Previously reportedthat at 13:00 local time, air raid alarms sounded in the Dnepropetrovsk and Kharkov regions, then in Kirovograd, Nikolaev and Odessa. Sirens were also heard in the Kyiv-controlled part of the Zaporozhye region, which joined Russia.

Since October 10, 2022, the Russian Armed Forces have been carrying out attacks on military and energy facilities in Ukraine. Russian President Vladimir Putin said that they were especially in response to the explosion on the Crimean bridge.
