Moscow Basmanny Court extended the detention of opposition politician Vladimir Kara-Murza (known in the Russian Federation as a foreign agent) on Wednesday, accused of treason and spreading fake news about the Russian Armed Forces. It has been reported DEA News.

“The court granted the inspector’s request to extend the restraining measure in the form of detention until March 12,” said court spokeswoman Yekaterina Buravtsova.

Before that, Basmanny Court elongated Arrest of Vladimir Kara-Murza by February 12. Kara-Murza was charged with several charges combined in a single joint case.

Formerly Kara-Murza, complained to the fact that the inspector forbade him to talk on the phone with his children. According to Kara-Murza, she has not spoken to the children since she was detained in April.
