A coordination center was created in Russia to systematize the work of enterprises for the development, testing and implementation of flying drones. About it in an interview TASS said Dmitry Savitsky, deputy general director of the Almaz-Antey concern, who is the head of the center.

According to him, Almaz-Antey experts from various specialties were included in the center.

“Research work is ongoing, specific plans that are in draft form and need to be approved have been outlined. We have just begun the process, but in the near future we hope to combine the efforts of all its participants and get the first serious results. ”

According to Savitsky, the center will coordinate the creation of unmanned aerial vehicles, drone systems, navigation equipment for the integration of unmanned aerial vehicles into the common airspace and other areas to ensure that developments are in line with the “common technical policy”.

Previously, the USA included JSC Concern VKO Almaz-Antey, which is part of Rostec, in the lists of sanctions for the development of air defense systems.
