According to the agency, in February, the number of incidents related to the collapse of elements of large-span building structures, dilapidated roofs of houses and structures is increasing.
This is influenced by the following factors: heavy snowfall and thaw, which causes the weight of dry snow to increase several times; untimely and poor quality snow and ice removal or repair work.
It was reported that such events were predicted with the highest probability in the Primorsky, Khabarovsk and Krasnoyarsk Regions, the Novosibirsk and Irkutsk Regions, the Khanty-Mansiysk and Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrugs and the Republic of Tyva. Also, the building is in danger of collapsing in most of the Northwest Federal District.
