March of participants in largest strike in 10 years begins in central London weather.
According to the publication, “up to half a million” people can join the action. The strike includes teachers, machinists, airport and university workers and civil servants.
The media also reported that the “unprecedented strike” would involve 70,000 employees from 150 British universities and more than 23,000 schools, “up to 100,000 members of the public and business services union” and around 1,900 bus drivers.
The strike is expected to affect bus services in south and west London.
Earlier, The Financial Times had written that despite harsh criticism from human rights organizations, British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak would propose new measures to suppress public protests by law enforcement in the country.
