A man was arrested by the Local Police of Malaga after an alleged stabbing in the Echeverría de Gamarra district of the city, where a wife and daughter were harmed during a disturbing domestic incident.

Authorities say the events unfolded around 22:30 on a Wednesday in a residence that was wrapped by a plainclothes unit from the Local Police Investigation and Protection Group. The officers, alerted by sounds inside the home, moved in to intervene and assess the situation.

The woman sustained serious injuries, and her 18-year-old daughter reportedly suffered arm wounds while attempting to mediate the confrontation between the suspect and the woman. He was subdued and taken into custody, while the woman was found bleeding and was transported to a health facility in serious condition.
