In the Ivanovo region, law enforcement detained two women suspected of stealing money and gold jewelry from a local resident, for allegedly “repairing the damage”. It has been reported press office Regional Directorate of Ministry of Interior.
The incident occurred in Komsomolsk.
The victim of the deception went to the police and said that two women had come to his house and convinced him that he was cursed. Fraudsters allegedly claimed the victim’s date of death. To avoid this, they said, it was necessary to “remove the black accumulated workload” from money and jewelry with the help of a purification ritual.
As a result, the victim gave all the money and jewelry to the scammer more than 200 thousand rubles. The suspects fled, promising to repair the damage on them.
Later, one of the defendants was detained in the Ivanovo region, the second – in Rybinsk. Both have been repeatedly prosecuted for fraud and theft.
Previously her husband in Moscow removed his wife, who gave 100 thousand rubles to remove the love spell from him.
