Anna Popova, head of Rospotrebnadzor, said that at the moment the agency does not expect “special dangers” and risks due to the relaxation of restrictive measures against the coronavirus in China. He talked about it in the broadcast of the TV channel “Russia 24”.

“We do not take any additional measures for people coming from China. We believe that this is not necessary, ”popova emphasized.

According to him, the authorities are taking all necessary measures to prevent the case in Russia, especially on the backdrop of the spread of influenza and acute respiratory infections. The head of the department noted that after China opened the borders, there has been no intense movement of people to date.

In December, Chinese authorities decided to ease the restrictive measures against the coronavirus across the country. China’s State Immigration Administration announced that from January 8, it will continue to accept applications for passports from Chinese citizens to travel abroad.

Meanwhile at WHO accused China underreports deaths due to coronavirus and CNN published+ satellite images of Chinese cities showing queues at crematoriums and funeral homes.
